War Amps Key Tags Service

June 4 - July 1, 2018

The War Amps serves more amputees than ever, thanks to donations to the Key Tag Service. These key tags are attached to your key ring and are confidentially coded so it is registered to only your name and address. So if you lose your keys, the finder can call the toll-free number on the back of the key tag or in any mailbox in Canada and they will be returned to you. Protect the valuables on your key ring with a War Amps key tag and help support programs for amputees. To order for your key tag click here.

No BAAHD Day's' Yoga

Enjoy a Yoga Session with rescued goats, pigs, sheep, cats and more! Limit of 30 participants per session, 12:00pm - 1:00pm & 1:30pm - 2:30pm. An adult yoga session (14+) designed for all levels! 100% of the proceeds from your tour go right back to supporting the daily care of the animals at the sanctuary! Please bring a yoga mat and bottle of water, and ensure you wear comfortable clothing you can move in! Note that our events are weather-permitting and may be rescheduled due to poor weather conditions. The address will be provided once you purchase a ticket along with sanctuary information via email a few days prior to the event.

Come down to the Recreation Grounds on June 23 for the 3rd Annual Wetaskiwin Family Fun Fair! Supported by Canadian Tire and the City of Wetaskiwin.

Activities include:
SPLASH Wetaskiwin - 20,000 water balloon fight
Food Trucks
Vendor Shopping
Petting Zoo
Face Painting... and much more!

Wristbands for the inflatables and water fight can be purchased at the Manluk Centre starting June 11 for $10.00. Wristbands can also be bought the day of for $12.00. All proceeds from this event will be donated to our local Jumpstart chapter.

There is a free shuttle bus (provided by the City of Wetaskiwin) from the Wetaskiwin Drill Hall to By-the-Lake Park. FREE to attend. Art & Music will be available to purchase on-site.
